INCA Awards 2026: Winners Announced Ahead of Grand Debut Ceremony in Mumbai

The Indian National Cine Academy (INCA) has officially unveiled the winners of its inaugural awards, setting the stage for a star-studded celebration on April 16, 2026, in Mumbai. The much-anticipated ceremony will be hosted by acclaimed filmmaker Karan Johar and actor Rana Daggubati.

A Unified Platform for Indian Cinema

Launched with the vision of fostering collaboration across India’s diverse film industries, INCA aims to bring together artists, technicians, producers, and institutions under a unified, academy-driven platform. The initiative is backed by the Producers Guild of India as its Chief Patron.

The awards span 21 categories, representing 12 film industries and languages, making it one of the most inclusive recognitions of cinematic excellence in the country.

Top Winners Across Categories

Films like Dhurandhar, Lokah, and Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 emerged as the biggest winners, dominating major categories.

Among the standout individual achievements:

  • Ranveer Singh won Best Actor (Hindi)
  • Yami Gautam secured Best Actress (Hindi) for Haq
  • Ahaan Panday was awarded Best Debut Actor for Saiyaara
  • Riya Shibu won Best Debut Actress for the Malayalam film Sarvam Maya

Regional cinema also saw strong representation:

  • Rashmika Mandanna won Best Actress (Telugu) for The Girlfriend
  • Naga Chaitanya received Best Actor (Telugu)
  • Dulquer Salmaan took home Best Actor (Tamil) for Kaantha
  • Prosenjit Chatterjee bagged Best Actor (Bengali) for Devi Chowdhurani

Music and Writing Honours

Celebrated singers Shreya Ghoshal and Vishal Mishra won Best Playback Singer (Female) and Best Playback Singer (Male) respectively for Saiyaara.

Meanwhile, filmmaker Neeraj Ghaywan earned accolades for Best Story & Screenplay for Homebound.

Grand Ceremony on April 16

The INCA Awards ceremony, scheduled in Mumbai on April 16, is expected to witness the presence of leading filmmakers, actors, technicians, and industry leaders from across India.
